Always following her personal motto, the Italian designer Elisabetta Franchi has celebrated two decades of her brand

It all began many years ago with a rag doll, the Betty Doll, loved by a little Bolognese girl who used to play dressing up and brushing it. Later, after sacrifices and hard work, what was simply a passion became a real job.

In 1998 Betty Blue S.p.A. born and a childhood dream came true.

Starting with “CELYN b”. collections – whose name referred to the French allure and to the designer’s nickname “Betta” – Elisabetta Franchi pursued a personal mission, that of wearing sensual and powerful women who have no fear to show off who they are.

Twenty years later the mission continues and now the designer is more and more careful not only to women’s desires but also to animals’ safeguard. After collaborating with the Italian animal-rights association LAV, in fact, the maison joined the “Fur Free Retail Programme”, choosing not to use anymore animals’ fur, goose down and Angora wool.

To commemorate this wonderful anniversary, last December a very exclusive party took place at Fabbrica Orobia in Milan, where it was set up also a museum room with all the brand signature pieces.

Even if guests were few and very close to the creative director, the brand decided to celebrate also with its beloved customers, launching a capsule collection available at Elisabetta Franchi.

The collection, in particular, re-proposed ten iconic brand dresses in a unique red lacquer version, enriched inside by an all-over-printed lining. In addiction, there are also a celebrative T-shirt with a funny image of the designer herself and the anniversary red lacquer colored bag in naplak, with an embossed number 20 and maxi logo handles.

Finally it cannot miss the beloved Betty Doll, shining and very glamourous in her little red party dress!
