FW 18 video campaign of Chloé sees the collaboration of the creative director Natacha Ramsay Levi and the photographer Steven Meisel

On an industrial pier on the banks of the East River, New York, Meisel films a series of dynamic and intimate portraits of the Chloé girls as a sisterhood of graceful characters in a hyper-real environment.

Exchanging quiet words and secret glances, the five women walk, seat, stand, or ride a bicycle, replacing each other in the camera’s focus through a free-spirited game of déja vu.

Meisel’ short movie, enacting images of both femininity and confident attitude, captures the essence of Ramsay Levi’s collection.

Simple, fluid silhouettes, with a glamorous yet urbane touch. French classicism blends with the vital spirit of Chloe’s cinematic past, showing a color palette that ranges from powdery neutrals, marigold to sage and saffron.

The rearing horse motif, a house’s icon reinstated by Ramsay-Levi, alights throughout the collection, appearing as an allover print on flared denim, dissolving across striped shirting, and mirrored as sequin embellishment.

A future classic, the new Chloé bag closes with a polished ‘c’ clasp, featuring matte or shiny calfskin and two-tone metal hardware.
