The environment, conceived by Charlotte Macaux Perelman – Hermès Maison art director together with Alexis Fabry – is like a journey back to ancient times.

The set signed by Hervé Sauvage invites visitors to follow collection’s items like bread crumbs across a path traced by dry stone walls.

A reflection around raw materials and the need for a return to a closer and noble relationship between man and nature.

Hermès Maison Collection wants to narrate the story of the Heart and its marvellous gifts to Humanity: black granite, used for “Hécate” table lamp by Barber & Osgerby , porcelain and gold, as in “Périmètre Rosacotta” vases – designed by Serpentin, Gianpaolo Pagni Fetich’h, Franck Mouteault Damier, Anne Roussel and Veronika Wildgruber – yak wool, used for “Yack’n’Dye” throws, oak and leather seen in the tray holder “Tray-Tôt” and finally bamboo and Japanese paper as in the new “Coulisse” lamp designed by Tomàs Alonso.

French maison’s iconic symbols, like the horse and the main logo, appear on cashmere plaids and wallpapers, as well as floral patterns with cold shade of blues and silver and fairy landscapes that recall Asian steps in the winter.

Overall a truly homage to craftsmanship and tradition.
