One of the greatest Milan’s lack is the sea. Even if this year sunny and hot weather was a bit late, that moment when the city turns deserted by the weekends has arrived. Moving to their beach house or booking two nights in a hotel on the seaside is Milanese people’s favorite antidote to fight against the heat. However for all those that has to stay at home, they shouldn’t feel less lucky as the city never stops to offer unmissable events!
This weekend will go on stage the fourth edition of “FuoriCinema FuoriSerie”, the free, no-stop, marathon of talks and screenings that allows you to meet artists from cinema, entertainment, cultural and media worlds.
Celebrating the public success reached during last editions, this year the event – that will take place within the spaces of Anteo Palazzo del Cinema and Chiostro dell’Incoronata – can count on a busy schedule that for the first time will be structured during four days, from Thursday to Sunday.
Festival’s artistic direction sees on the forefront Cristiana Capotondi and Cristiana Mainardi – also project’s creators – followed by big names such as Gabriele Salvatores, Gino & Michele, Lionello Cerri and Paolo Baldini. The Italian actress Marina Rocco, together with the guest of honor Angela Finocchiaro, will present the several event’s appointments focusing on the central theme of Love.
In addition to the numerous previews on schedule – such as the bio pic “Nureyev – the white crow” by Ralph Finnies, “Edison – l’uomo che illuminò il mondo” (The Current War) by Alfonso Gomez-Rejon, the 4k restored version of the Oscar-awarded “Mediterrano” by Gabriele Slavatores, the TV series “Warrior” produced by Bruce Lee’s daughter Shannon Lee and much more – “FuoriCinema FuoriSerie” will give a space to invisible female talents of Italian cinema with the newborn “FUORI>DALL’ANONIMATO” project.
In the end a unique occasion to spend the weekend chilling and enjoying our beloved city even during the hottest season, perhaps also a very good reason to cancel the weekend off!
