On the occasion of Milano Design Week 2019 we had a talk with the designer and artist Denise Bonapace who showed her project “Please sit!” made for “Connecting Cultures”, the non-profit research agency founded by Anna Detheridge.
As Bonapace said the project was a truly workshop during which artisans from all over the world were invited to reinterpret and redesign the welcoming object par excellence, the chair: taking old seats the entire sustainable project gave birth to 21 new and unique design pieces, throughout weaving and tailoring techniques.
