Lacoste is celebrating its 85th birthday returning to Paris Fashion Week  and to France. Felipe Oliveira Baptista’ s inspiration comes from French cinema. Eric Rohmer ‘s “Conte d’Èté” and Mathieu Kassovitz’s  “La Heine”  represent the two souls of the co-ed  collection: tennis for the bourgeoisie and streetstyle of the banlieues. The crocodile, the brand’s logo, is ubiquitus: blown up and printed on sundresses, proudly stitched to the polo that becomes an asymmetrical dress or golden as a decoration for loafers.  The mix is strong and definitely contemporary, perfect for a young edgy crowd.
