That Kate Moss’ s taste is impeccable is undoubtful. Her coolness, a cross between masculine and feminine, of rock ’n’ roll and romantic, is legendary. She channeled her style for french historic brand Equipment designing a collection of simple yet precious pieces. It all started with her love for Equipment’s iconic silk shirts, she then changed the fit a bit, moved the pocket, worked on prints (there is a super sweet lightning bold print as an homage to David Bowie) and added her signature embroidered or printed et …voilà! It’s a true capsule collection, a small wardrobe consisting in easy classic pieces like a tailored jacket, palazzo pants, a military jacket and some slip dresses that remind us of young grunge Kate in the Nineties.
And it’s all a supermodel affair: Daria Werbowy, model and Kate’s friend, jumped on the other side of the camera and shot the lookbook in grainy black and white. While the video of the collection has been shot in Kate’s country house’s living room, featuring Kate, Susie Cave, ex model and musician Nick cave’s wife and Ella Richards, music legend Keith Richard’s grand daughter. It’s all very rock ’n’roll!
