Morfeo is born from the idea of a floating bed, with the central part that supports the mattress, seemingly floating between the thin, softly curved headboard and footboard. The structure is made of a single element, curved at the ends, clad in a patterned/embellished technical fabric, and outlined with a solid wood frame.
A suspended bed which seems to have the consistency of a dream. As it bends with the lightness of a leaf, its middle part, on which the mattress rests, appears to float between the pure, smooth lines of headboard and footboard. “A bed should be comfortable,” Giorgio Armani said, “I wanted to add a sense of lightness to this essential feeling, to truly take the mind into another world.”
A totally innovative idea of bed, which does not provide to belong to a whole collection, but will be coupled by a matching nightstand.
Two other important beds designed previously, Roma and Botticelli, have been revisited and placed in Armani Hotels’ prestigious rooms and suites (the Roma chosen for the Armani Hotel Dubai, the Botticelli for the Armani Hotel Milano).

Morfeo is part of the new collection of Armani/Casa that, during the Milano Design Week in April 2017, will unveil the grand flagship store of four floors in corso Venezia 14, Milano.

Armani/Casa has a total of 42 stores in 29 countries. The stores are located in the world’s major cities, including Milan, Paris, London, New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Tokyo, Shanghai, and Beijing.
